UMATI is a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and is governed by a well- established volunteer structure from the national to grassroots level. Since its inception, the Association has been responding to various national and international challenges for its growth. This move contributed to the accumulated experience in the provision of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) information and services in the country. The Association has been reviewing and remodelling itself in line with the emerging challenges to move towards youth focused SRH services.
